Effective 22 June 2026 · DEVOUT BV
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Hopp (hopp.qr-redirects.be), a dynamic QR-code redirect service, and your purchase of printed QR stickers and related physical products from us. The seller and your contracting party is DEVOUT BV, a company incorporated in Belgium - VAT BE 0643.596.186, enterprise no. KBO 0643.596.186, Belgium (“we”, “us”, “our”). You can reach us at support@hopp.qr-redirects.be.
By creating an account, using the service, or placing an order, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Hopp. Privacy and cookies are covered in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy sections of this same page.
Consumers & businesses: if you are an EU consumer (acting outside your trade, business or profession), nothing in these Terms removes or limits your mandatory rights under Belgian and EU consumer law - those rights always prevail over any conflicting clause here. Where a clause is stated to apply only to business customers (“B2B”), it does not apply to consumers.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Hopp and to generate, manage and serve your QR codes and redirects. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for everything done through it.
Free vs Pro. Hopp offers a Free plan and a Pro plan (€9.99 per year, incl. applicable VAT). Pro unlocks extended features as described on our pricing page.
Free-code reconfirmation. Free QR codes must be periodically reconfirmed to stay active. If a free code is not reconfirmed in time, scans first show a short landing page, and after 30 days the code is paused. Paused codes are not deleted and can be resumed at any time by reconfirming or by upgrading to Pro, which removes the reconfirmation requirement entirely.
Acceptable use. You must not use Hopp, or point any QR code or redirect destination, to content or activity that is illegal, fraudulent, malicious (for example malware, phishing or deceptive redirects), infringing of third-party rights, or otherwise in breach of these Terms or applicable law. We may, without prior notice, suspend, pause, disable or delete any code, redirect or account that breaches this clause or that triggers our trust & safety or anti-abuse checks, and we may report unlawful activity to the competent authorities.
Availability. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee any particular uptime, error-free operation, or that a given destination will always resolve. We may modify, add or remove features, or discontinue parts of the service, and will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect paying users.
Pro term & renewal. Pro is billed in advance for a 12-month term and renews automatically for successive 12-month terms unless cancelled before the renewal date. We will remind you of an upcoming auto-renewal at least 30 days before it takes effect. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term, and you keep Pro access until then.
Price changes. We may change subscription prices for future terms. We will notify you at least 30 days before a renewal at a changed price; the new price applies only from the next term, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
Taxes & VAT. Prices are stated inclusive or exclusive of VAT as shown at checkout. VAT is charged where applicable. Business customers in the EU outside Belgium may be invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism where they provide a valid VAT number. Payments are processed by Stripe.
API credits. API credits are a prepaid wallet used to place automated print orders. A credit top-up is treated as a VAT-free advance payment; VAT is accounted for on each individual print order, and each order receives its own VAT invoice. Unused credits are a non-refundable advance payment except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or resold, and are consumed only against orders placed through your account. All print orders placed via the API or credits wallet are subject to the same terms as orders placed manually, including the content warranty, IP indemnity, production and cancellation rules, defect-claim window and customs terms set out in section 4.
Consumer digital-content note. Where you are a consumer purchasing Pro or another paid digital service, you (i) expressly request that we start providing it immediately, and (ii) acknowledge that you lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once we have begun performing the service. We will confirm this consent and acknowledgement to you on a durable medium (for example in your order confirmation email). If you do withdraw during the 14-day period before performance is complete, you remain liable only for a proportionate amount for what has already been supplied.
We sell die-cut, weatherproof vinyl QR stickers, both as single stickers and as series/sheets, ordered online and shipped to you. Every printed product we sell is made to order and personalised to your specific QR design, colours and content; we do not sell standard, non-personalised stock stickers.
Seller & fulfilment. DEVOUT BV is the seller and merchant of record for every physical order, and is your sole contracting party. We use a print-on-demand drop-ship partner, Prodigi, to produce and ship your stickers from production facilities in the UK and/or EU. Prodigi prints and ships under the Hopp brand on our behalf. Prodigi's own content and production policies also apply to what can be printed; where they are stricter than these Terms, the stricter rule applies. In particular, an order may be rejected even if otherwise lawful if it breaches our print partner's content policy - for example hateful or abusive content, sexual content, any content exploiting or depicting minors, content infringing trademarked, copyrighted or celebrity material, or depictions of regulated goods. We will refund any order rejected on these grounds.
Made to order - no 14-day withdrawal right. Because all printed products are personalised to your specific QR design and content, and in accordance with Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (and the corresponding provisions of Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law), the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to these products. This does not affect your separate statutory rights where an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as ordered (see “Faulty, damaged or wrong items” and “Your statutory legal guarantee” below).
Your responsibilities. When you order, you must:
IP indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DEVOUT BV and our print partner against any third-party claim, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you submit for printing, including any claim that it infringes intellectual-property or other rights or is unlawful. This clause survives completion of your order.
Order acceptance & cancellation. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept it by confirming the order or sending it to production. We may decline or cancel an order (for example for content that breaches these Terms, pricing errors, payment issues or fraud checks) and will refund any amount already paid for a declined order. Because items are sent to our print partner for immediate, on-demand production, the window to cancel or change an order (including the shipping address) is very short and may close within a short time of placing the order. We will try, but cannot guarantee, to halt an order before production begins; once production has started, the order can no longer be cancelled or changed. Please check all details carefully before you confirm. This cancellation restriction is separate from, and does not affect, your rights if the item arrives faulty, damaged or not as ordered (see below).
Production & delivery times. Production and delivery timescales shown at checkout or in confirmations are indicative only and are not guaranteed. Production and shipping times are separate; total time depends on the product, destination and carrier, and production and dispatch lead times are estimates set by our print partner and outside our direct control. For consumers, this indicative language does not override your statutory rights: we will deliver without undue delay and in any event within 30 days of order acceptance unless a longer period is agreed, and if we fail to deliver within that period (or any reasonable additional period you then set), you may cancel the order and receive a refund.
Risk & title. Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery. For consumers, delivery is when you (or someone you nominate, other than the carrier) take physical possession of the goods. Title passes on delivery, provided the goods have been paid for in full.
Customs, duties & import taxes. Because items are produced on demand at UK or EU facilities and routed to an available facility, your order may be shipped from outside your own customs territory - for example an EU order may be produced and dispatched from the UK. Unless we show import charges as included (for example on a delivered-duty-paid basis) at checkout, any customs duties, import VAT, clearance fees or similar charges are your responsibility and are not included in the price or shipping cost. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items (goodwill process). If your order arrives faulty, defective, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, contact support@hopp.qr-redirects.be as soon as reasonably possible, and in any event within 7 days of delivery, with your order number and clear photos of the item and, where relevant, the packaging. Visible transit damage should be reported promptly on receipt. Where we accept the claim, our remedy under this voluntary goodwill process is, at our discretion, a free reprint and reshipment or a refund. This 7-day photo-report window applies only to this discretionary goodwill process: it does not shorten the statutory legal guarantee below or your right to claim within it, and for business customers it is a firm condition of the goodwill reprint or refund remedy.
Your statutory legal guarantee. For consumers, a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years applies to the printed goods under Belgian and EU law (Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law and Directive (EU) 2019/771), alongside any commercial goodwill remedy. Nothing in these Terms shortens that period or limits it. Under that guarantee you, as the consumer, may choose between repair and replacement, and may move on to a price reduction or termination of the contract where that remedy fails, is impossible or is disproportionate. Our “at our discretion” reprint-or- refund offer above is a voluntary goodwill process and does not override your statutory right to choose between these remedies.
Print tolerances. Minor variations in colour, exact shade, cut position and size are inherent to printing and die-cutting and are not defects. On-screen colours are approximate and may differ from the printed result. We recommend testing that your printed QR code scans correctly before ordering large quantities or sheets.
| Topic | Printed products (made to order) | Pro & digital services |
|---|---|---|
| 14-day withdrawal | Does not apply (personalised - CRD Art. 16(c)) | Lost once performance begins, with your consent on a durable medium |
| Cancellation | Only before production begins (window may be very short) | Cancel auto-renewal anytime; effective end of term |
| Goodwill reprint / refund | Report within 7 days with photos - reprint or refund at our discretion | Not applicable |
| Statutory rights (consumers) | 2-year legal guarantee of conformity, your choice of remedy - always preserved | Mandatory statutory rights always preserved |
Hopp, the Hopp and DEVOUT names and logos, the software, and the look and feel of the service are owned by DEVOUT BV or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (your destinations, designs, images and text). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, reproduce and print that content solely to operate the service and to produce and ship your orders, including passing the necessary files to our print partner. You warrant that you hold all rights needed to grant this licence, and the IP warranty and indemnity in section 4 apply to all such content.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, from a destination you set, or from a code being paused, suspended or disabled under these Terms. For consumers, this exclusion and any liability cap apply only so far as the law allows and do not exclude our liability for foreseeable loss resulting from our breach or for the non-excludable matters listed below.
For business customers, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited - including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for a consumer's mandatory statutory rights (including the legal guarantee of conformity of goods and product-liability rights). Those rights remain fully available to you.
You may stop using Hopp and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, or pause, disable or delete specific codes, if you breach these Terms, on instruction of a competent authority, to protect the service or other users, or where required by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will give notice. On termination, your licence to use the service ends; clauses that by their nature should survive (including sections 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8) continue to apply. Lawful termination does not entitle you to a refund of fees already due, except as required by mandatory law.
These Terms and any dispute relating to them or to the service are governed by Belgian law. For business customers, the courts of the judicial district of our registered seat have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you keep the right to bring proceedings before, and may be sued only before, the courts of your country of residence (or ours, at your choice).
Complaints first. Please contact us at support@hopp.qr-redirects.be before starting any dispute, so we can try to resolve it. If you are a consumer in Belgium and we cannot resolve your complaint directly, you may refer it to the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst / Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur), North Gate II, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 box 1, 1000 Brussels, consumerombudsman.be. For cross-border disputes within the EU, you can also obtain free assistance from the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) via your national European Consumer Centre. We are not obliged to use, and do not commit to, an alternative dispute-resolution body, but will engage in good faith with any complaint you raise.
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the service, to our print arrangements, or to the law. The “Effective” date above shows the current version. For material changes affecting paying users or open orders, we will give reasonable notice (for example by email or in-app). Your continued use of the service, or placing a new order, after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms; changes do not apply retroactively to orders already accepted.
